89 225 Looper Carbs

Yesterday, I cleaned the carbs and intake to my '89 225 looper. i also linked and synched. When i started it, at idle it was increasing RPM up over 3000 and qucickly climbing before I shut it off. All of the throttle plates were completly closed. I checked the primer pump and found no leaks and yet it keeps reving up when I start it.

I'm thinking it might be an air leak somewhere and wanted other opinions with this issue. Thank you.
