... heya Mike,

You talking the build up pedestals for the back to back seating? and/or the aft seat build ups by the O/B? or do you want the actual seats themselves? i can get some numbers for you soon and a couple pics but it will be off my 86' if you think that'll do you.

lemme know

search boat seats, they give the box measurement. decide where you want an 8" 10" or 12" high box. as i get older i found the 10 or 12 suits me better,

What I need are the boxes that fasten to hull in front and rear.I bought this boat gutted.Floor sawed out, seats and all around the back.Floor is no big deal but seats and around inboard a lot more challange.I want it as close to factory as I can.I have a fair set of seats I plan to use till winter then recover to use from now on.I want to thank you for your time and trouble.

... hiya proshade;

sorry it took awhile, its been a moonsoon around here. needed to know I'd have time to get some work done. while I was at it got a few pics and measurements. its only going to be the back to back seats and the ski locker. you'll need to ref the pics to get the jest. going original will take some work. you may be better off just making a square old box. i dont have an I/O like yours so others hopefully may help you out there for the back seats.

your pedestal is a bit of an upside down pyramid. it's 42" long top side, 36"
long base side. it rises 10". it's *24" wide top side and 22 1/2" base side.

*(15" actual, the gunnel shelf is 9", see pic)

also note you have a gunnel shelf that is 9" wide before the rise of the pedestal that holds your seats. this little shelf is 5" high at the gunnel

your ski locker is 12" wide and 43" long. the lip of the locker is 9" where it follows the pedestal base. the locker starts 10" from the aft base of your seats. meaning its not parallel to the seats. its off set.

the front of your pedestal base is 21" from the sides of your console, the sides that allow you to enter the bow area. this is your leg room to sit and stear.

Hope this helps and g-luk
