Hey guys, the weather is getting better and I am going to try and replace some parts of my floor.

I was thinking of cutting out the bad sections and then with 3/4 ply lay right over top of everything.

Do you think this would just add unwanted weight? or is there a better way that is easy for the 1st timer to do.

My main concern is the 2 consoles before the bow and the seats in the bow. I'm worried if I cut too close to them that they would lose support then I'll be in a mess.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I can take pictures to show you what the floor looks like now if that would help.

Arnaldo - Rot is rot. Putting new plkywood over the rot ain't gonna make the rot go away. Spend a couple of hours reading old posts here. Your question has been asked and answered a 100 times.

Arnaldo,

Saw your boat on sharaproject.com. Looks like you have a bit of work ahead of you.

BTW, try to keep your posts about the same topic all in one thread so its easier for the rest of us to follow your project/progress/issues and give advice, etc.

Thanks and good luck.
