Hey guys, got this boat last summer. Gave her some love, plugs, wires, coil etc. Winterized with rv antifreeze, fogging, and fuel treatment. Ran great now, it won't run. It starts right up, but won't continue to run. I seem to have enough fuel pressure, I change the water separator.... What else should I check?

Does it start right up after it dies or do you have to wait a while? If so, could be flooding out. Sounds like a fuel/carb issue to me.

Sometimes she will fire up time and time again. If I try to start with throttle or too many pumps, it takes a lot of cranking. I looked down in the carb and you can see the fuel spraying. I'm wondering if it's a mixture issue due to mechanical or gasket failure, or perhaps an issue with the spark? She got new plugs, wires and a coil. So far I have tried a new fuel filter and I took the top of the carb off, removed the fuel, checked the float and cleaned the jets with carb cleaner and compressed air. Is it possible for a mechanical fuel pump to build enough pressure to start and not have enough to run? I'm trying to think of every scenario. I really don't want to throw parts at it.

It appears to be flooding. They are black.
