How do I determine if my oil injection is injecting the proper amount of oil to gas? I have clean oil leaking out of the carburetors (through the butterfly) and dripping down into the engine pan. Engine runs fine, starts easy (smokes a lot on initial start). is there a meter ? that regulates oil flow?

The manual explains a test for checking the oil consumption.

Was this motor recently brought out of storage? If it had been stored with the engine tilted way up the mixture can run out of the carbs into the silencer, over time the gas evaporates out and leaves the oil behind.

Not unsual to have a little fuel/oil dripping from the carbs, as Jake correctly notes. The extra fuel should accumulate in the bottom of the airbox, where it should be sucked into the bottom cyl for combustion. That assumes the airbox gasket is in good shape and that the airbox drain hose is connected to the hose barb at the front of the engine.

Oil drip happens each time the motor is used even if run for only a short time but obviously the longer the run time the more oil leaked.
Fleet Admiral, you may have hit on my problem, didn't know the carb would suck in this oil and the gasket was torn but using my backyard skills I used a gasket repair goo and may not have sealed it properly. Thanks guys for your responses!!!
