89 Evinrude 110 hp prop size

I have a 17.5 aquasport with a 89 110hp evinrude on it. i bought the boat as a fixer upper. the motor came with no prop. Can anyone tell me around what size i may need. i am lost when it comes to prop size. i know people change prop size depending on what they want out of there boat but i dont have a starting off prop to go by. any info would be great! thanks.

My '87 E-rude 110 has a 13 3/8 X 17 on it. I have the motor hanging off the back of my 1983 Four Winns Marquis 160. She's 16ft. and right about 1300 lbs loaded. I get a hell of a hole shot she tops out at about 42 mph.

I think I could go a lil bigger on my prop because if I let her, she'll rev out to over 6300 rpm.

I would start with this size if I were you and go from there.

thanks for the info. Is that the prop that came on your motor when you got it or did you upgrade to it?

I just got this motor (used) less than a month ago. This prop was on it.
