I recently purchased this boat and for the past few weeks been removing alot of "southern engineering". Main issue was the fuel pump. The fuel/VRO pump was gone. Previous owner had an electric inline fuel pump run by a light switch that had to be turned on manually to start the engine. This worked fine for him but I like things to be proper. I ordered a new standard lift pump from iboats, installed it, removed the pulse limiter and plugged the hole. Installed new fuel lines, etc. The problem is now it won't idle long without stalling. If I kick it up to about 1200 rpm it will stay running. The previous owner was using it on a daily basis before I got it and it ran fine. Where did I mess up? Also the air box is missing if this makes a difference (haven't been able to locate one yet).
