I am new to two stroke carbs. I have done tons of q jets and holleys. I cleaned the carbs and blew then out. The top one functions fine, the bottom two are just dumping gas out of the front of the the throat of the carb and pooling real bad.

On a SBC carb this would indicate among other things a bad float or seat. Is that the case here? Seems pretty straight forward but, it is driving me crazy because I am sure the seat and float were set right, before I tear it apart again I just wanted to make sure.

Carbs are carbs. Float can hang up, float setting can be off, trash in needle and seat, bad needle or seat, etc

did you also clean out the fuel pumps and the fuel lines?
if not you most likly reintroduced trash into your freshly cleaned carbs.

All new lines and I am running on a side tank of fresh gas. I found another problem. One of the brass valves at the bottom of the carb has become out or round, and is stuck open, where can I get a new valve, is there a part number for this.I have a spare rochester 4mv q jet and a holley and this valve is not the same size as those...

would these carbs work if i rejeted them?

no valves that I know of other than the needle valve.
the needle is replacable the seat is not.
if someone has damaged the needle seat the carb is trash.
sometimes folks try to remove them or remove the emulsion tubes.
both are pressed in and non replacable.
a picture about now would help.

sorry not the valve, the throttle plate on the bottom of the carb ( that moves went you give it throttle) the brass circle that sits in the bottom of the carb.

this plate will not seal with the rest of the carb.

Re: 89 Excel 225 runs after carb cleaning but is dumping gas.

if someone has managed to bend a throttle plate its done. no plates or parts avalible.
however thats very difficult.
are you sure the link and sync was done properly? normal position its not sealed at idle speed.
to sync the carbs back off the idle speed screw about 3 turns so it clears the stopper.
then unclip the throttle cam and swing it back. then loosen all the shutter screws and make sure all shutters close.
tighten the two screws not associated with the throttle roller.
turn the idle screw back down 3 turns and your in the ballpark. start engine set idle shut off.
reattach the throttle cam. set the roller so that at idle you can still turn the roller but not see much daylight between the cam and roller.
the 89 and 90 model 225 excells were different motors altogether.
thats why I keep asking for a model number or pictures.
had an incident a bit ago that the guy was buying parts for his v6 special only to find someone had put a 200 powerhead on it.
most the stuff he bought didnt fit.
we are dealing with a motor 21 years old with an unknown history to us.
folks do wiered things to motors, trust me I have seen most of it.
unlike junny rude carbs and a few others, the throttle plates on that engine should be open slightly at adle.

Re: 89 Excel 225 runs after carb cleaning but is dumping gas.

The plate was bent like 5 to 10 degrees, The jest were put back on in a haphazard way, and on of the main nozzles was chewed up. I am imagining some one did a quick job on this boat to just get it gone, and that is when this mess happened.

The serial number plate says, v6 Excel, but the bottom of the plate is ripped off. and heads say 6k700. what other info can I get to help.

not much but the throttle plates ARE NEVER removed, period.
dunno how your going to find the correct screws but usually if you try to reuse the old ones you cant properly stake them and when the fall out they wont make it out the exhaust.
good luck.
take some pics of the port and stbd sides as well as the rear.
looks like it may be the excell from the 86 to 89 time frame.
