hey guys wondering if someone has an idea of whats going on whith this motor.
i have a 1989 force 125 l-drive on a bayliner that i just purchased with lots of little probs but fixed most of them except for i keep getting milk shake liquid in #4 cyl which is the bottom cyl.
i thought it was the head gasket took it off looked good put a new one on any way, still same thing someone told me it could be the exhaust manifold gasket so i removed it and it looked good too.
however the bottom of the exhaust chamber on the engine block side was full of the milkshake being water mixed with raw fuel and exhaust gas i guess.
so much about 5oz. to fill that chamber to the point of the exhaust port of the bottom cyl .i drained it out and put on a new gasket .started right up idling about 800 rpm.
after about 30 seconds of running the motor would get these strong misses like a quick mild engine braking i guess water was trying to hydraulic the cylinder it kind of went away the next 10 seconds or so .
so i turned the engine off and removed the plug and again milkshake shot out of the plug hole. i am a motorcycle mechanic auto mechanic not too much a marine engine mechanic but this thing is baffling me .the head is not cracked well visually any way nor the exhaust manifold either could it be comming from the intake? help!!!!!!!!!
