do you have a box of parts? if you have the magnet frame and armature then you're okay for rebuild. I bet the local auto starter place can do it for around $100. All they need is too add a TR206 motor cap and you'll be back in business. If you don't have any parts then you're going to have to buy new motor ... about $200 for the Chinese and $300 for the American. I'd stay away from API. They have a real problem getting the armature length correct - probably highest failure rate of any aftermarket brand. Another concern you have is the hole in top of reservoir. The lip collects rain water and directs it into reservoir. If your engine has been exposed then you need to flush the water out of your system before you rust the tilt piston. Rusty tilt piston is a major problem simply because ti will take forever and a day to find the parts.
