Sounds like you are on the right track, fuel delivery problem?
What size is the fuel line?
Did you dip the carbs or just spray them clean? The ethanol leaves a coating I have not been able to get off with any spray cleaners.

Built in or portable fuel tank? If built in, check for air leaks in fuel plumbing, stuck anti-siphon valve, crap covering pickup screen, cracked pickup tube, plugged vent, etc. Try with a different tank to see if results are different.

Have you tried activating the choke/primer when it starts to die and noted the result? Or squeezed the primer ball? Either will confirm a fuel supply problem.

You can also check the fuel pump output once you confirm a fuel supply issue.

BTW, the only way to clean carbs is complete dis assembly, soak overnight and blow dry and clean all passages.

Well I took the carbs apart cleaned and put back together I did not let them set overnight. Fuel line size is 5/16 I believe. Motor runs I pump the bulb it will still die. Air leak makes perfect sense I will double check the lines again. Anymore help would be greatly appreciativethanks a lot guys

Have you tried the other things I suggested (choke/primer, primer bulb,, fuel pump output test).

Fuel pump: 1) disconnect outlet hose, make sure engine can't start (pull safety lanyard, etc.) 2) crank engine ; should get regular, long gas spurts, anything less suggests a bad pump

I haven't tried that but I will. It is a new fuel pump though.

When the engine dies, check the spark plugs are they wet or dry? Also, immediately check to see if you have spark on all 4 plug wires.

You mean the external line with the primer bulb?

Glad you got it. See always the simple things that cause the biggest headaches.

I think he has the clip on fuel ends. Ive seen people at the dock flip them upside down before. Usually the pressure from the bulb shoots them off one end of the other. Its kinda funny seeing the fella freaking out running from a little gas.
