89' Johnson 200 hp

I have inherited a boat with a 1989 200 hp Johnson mod. J200TXCEA with 445 Hours on it.<br /> Can anyone tell me what the typical lifespan in hours or years might be?

I am still running a 1958 50 hp Evinrude and a 1959 35 hp Johnson. Take good care of them and they will serve you well!<br />Richard

if it was me i would pull the heads to check and replace the gaskets. had i of done this on the 120 i bought as rebuilt, i would have known it wasnt. cost $40 instead of over 2k. good insurance any way. dont forget about thermostats and water pump.
