89 Merc 45 hp water leak around #1 plug & hot tel tale stream

So i pulled my boat out & crank the motor today & the tel tale stream is hot to the touch. I got to looking & also noticed that the #1 cylinder has water seeping out the spark plug hole or in that area. Can someone explain this to me? I want to know if its worth fixing or should i make a paperweight out of it & look into another motor?

Maybe just be the gasket under the cylinder block cover needs replacement.

Replace the impeller and water jacket cover. This gasket usually fails due to a weak or failed impeller as this is the top of the cylinder jugs...

Faztbullet this isnt something thats going to blow my mind is it? Im keeping a watch on ebay for a merc manual cause i had a chiltons manual with my 135 & i could make heads or tails of that thing. Oh and i did locate a merc maintanance manual but it looks nothing the others listed on ebay but is that the right manual?
