A year ago, I bought my First Skeeter. I knew it was an older boat and I would have to work on it so i'm ready for anything! When I had the boat trailered and in the shop this weekend. I noticed there are some gouges on the bottom. I have plans to completely redo my boat next winter. Its just too close to season to start now. My question is, since there is no water leaking, can i simply epoxy the gouges? I aslo want to repair several small screw holes, what is the best way to fill them? A new paint job is in the plans to redo my boat. So painting is not a problem. Thank you for all your time and considerations!

Gouges??? Size? Shape? All the Way through the Hull?? Pics would be Helpful. Marine Tex or PC-11 Epoxy Putty should do the trick on the screw holes and depending on the size and location of the "Gouges" you might be able to use it on them as well as a temporary fix before your total rebuild. Pics would really be helpful to determine what you need.
