hey guys. 94 degrees today and the boat wouldnt go. it left the ramp fine at no wake then went to throttle on plane and it petered out and stalled. it would only start if i used the enrichener/choke push key in method with the throttle lever up. we swam it back to the ramp. it woulda ran there pushing the key in choke position but we figured its hot and swimmins nice. plus dont wanna kill it....or do I!?!?!? i got it home and took the heads off and DESTROYED the new gaskets i put on last month. everything looked tight with the gaskets but that minty green gas sludge stuff was in the cylinders with water droplets. took off the exhaust divider plate and it looks like the gasket didnt line up right when i put it on before but it looks like it didnt line up on the outside edge where water would leak out instead of in, enough to stop the engine from runnin. one small spot maybe but there was pooled water in the little ports between the cylinders and the exhaust chamber. this is after a forty minute drive home with the motor tilted way up for the drive. i guess id like to know what ya think and i wonder if water is getting in somewhere else. do the three gaskets between the powerhead and midleg separate water? could it be there? it was mainly the top half of the divider plate chamber that was wet and down the midleg exhaust chamber was dry. i used clear tubes between the crankcase and reedplate(forget what j martin called the tubes) but it looked like water and gas in spurts runnin through the tubes when its running.sound like alot a water to you??? does to me. i figere to replace those gaskets i took off and try and see if it still gets wet but where else would you guys look from here?????water jacket gaskets were also replaced last month! THANX ALOT YOU GUYS apreeciate your help alot. compression is also about 100 on all which its been since i got it two summers ago. THANX AGAIN
