Alan,
I think what he means, is that the physical size of the high thrust prop is about the same of that of a 25. If you compare them, they're somewhat the same.

I had that high thrust prop on my 2 stroke 8 until it got stolen. I replaced it with a regular prop, as I didn't have time to wait for a replacement. I really miss it, the difference is definately noticable.

Ooo Ok, Just didnt seem right the way he worded it. As i assumed the motor would equal about a 25

very interesting ..... South Africa is very behind on the new Yamaha products, first time I've see these high thrust motors ..... does it come like that standard from the factory?

Ye first time ive seen one to... I still dont really get it.. IM ASSUMING it comes factory like that but hey what the hell do i know

Well i read most of it.. ( I cant read very long with out getten distracted) anyways I guess the real thing is we gotta find some one whos used the 8 hp High trust and see if it makes a big diffrence... cause hell if a 8hp with a high thrust prop can make it be like a 25.. I want one for my 225 d:)
