8hp no spark on both coils - help

The other week I was out with my buddy on my little 12 footer and in the morning the motor started second pull, no problem at all. I did notice that there was a lot of smoke but I'm pretty sure it was from to much 2 stroke oil in the gasoline. We went to move spots after fishing a shore and the motor would not start at all. The motor is like new (15 hours) good compression, pulls very easily, carb is clean but its not getting spark. I changed the spark plugs and nothing, I changed the two coils and still no spark, i even tried messing around with the kill switches and no a thing. The motor wants to start but just isn't getting that spark, gas is going through and everything. If there is anything you can think of that will help please let me know, im very desperate at this point to get it working..
