Hi, need a little help. Motor starts but only stays running by squirting gas in carb. So I cleaned carb and blew out. reasemled. No luck. I replaced the top half of carb body with float assembly that I Knew worked...... no luck. Question is where is it plugged?

Will it stay running if you squeeze the ball?
If so verify the fuel pump is working.

Reed valve leaves broken/blocked open {directly beneath carb)?

The main jet on that carb is in the bottom, behind the drain plug.

I suggest you find the orifice plug ( high speed ) in the carburetor bowl.----Make sure it is clean.

start with this.... clean the carb .. it must be 100% clean!!

Thks..Checked it out. Ended up plugged port between sump and pick up tube. Thks for sending me in the right direction
