9.5 rude

hey guys back again. got a 9.5 1972 rude jumps out of gear. pulled apart disconected gear shift put in gear by hand. i put it back together and ran fine. do you think the clutch dog is bad. thanks.

If you did not remove the screw in the connector completely, the shift rod probably is not in far enough.
