9.8 110 help

[pikefisherman]

Used motor, was running started running rough took to marina bad coil. Ran for a month or so same trouble,switched coil, problum stayed with old coil so bought new coil.Now two new coils. Motor ran great. Took motor off to use on other boat 100 mile ride in pick up motor won't fire. Suspect kill switch, should motor run with out kill switch pluged in?

With 4 different ign. sysems over the years a serial number would help

Your system is a 2nd generation CD with points, here's a link on testing go to page 71
