9.8 1965 impeller ?'s

i have a 1965 mercury motor ser # 1875542 model 110
i ordered a inpeller kit from oldmercs. i do not know if that model uses a slinger.

i would like to know were i could get a parts diagram for the motor. I do not know if this motor used a slinger or the kit was for a later models. here is a picture of the water pump cover. do you think i could put the slinger on the drive shaft even though it did not come with one .

thank for the information. it is a big help the picture does show a slinger.

when i put the lower unit back am i to use some permatex between the upper and lower unit i have some old permatex high tack could i use that. or am i to use nothing or some thing i do not know about. the next thing is to figure out were the two orings go they did not send any information. they must think i know what i am doing . my other post has the oring sizes.

the kit came with a slinger and two orings the one fits the top of the drive shaft the other one is to big for the top of the shift shaft.

There is no sealer required on the unit mounting flange
