9.8 air filter help...

I have a 1984 Merc 9.8hp Serial # 6518311. I need to find the air filter and housing I guess that connects to the carb, right now there is nothing stoping debis and all from getting into the carb. I recently rebuilt it and I would like to filter the air that goes into the carb. Does anyone know where I can find one or if I should just make one somehow... Thanks

It didn't have an air filter, Racer. Not much dust/debris flying around out on the lake so nobody put air filters on them.
