9.8hp merc help-prop shaft and parts???

i need the gears or engagement assembly for a late seventies merc 9.8. also need the tool to remove the bolt thing on the back of the prop housing any help would be great???

What is the serial # on your Motor and what tool is it?

serial number is 4547684<br />the tool is for removing the plate behind the prop. i don't know the part number or the actual name of the plate, but basically when you have the prop off, its the next step before getting into the lower unit.

Im trying to replace my prop seal need that same exact tool. Im also in the proccess of trying to find it with no luck so far.
