Need some help with a problem. I know what the problem is just don't know if it can be a simple fix or expensive one. On the end of the gear shift handle is a large peice of plastic ( pt. # 0387257 switch lever and hub), which comes into contact with a electric switch (pt # 03956699 switch and sleeve). When in neutral the small plunger should be depressed so that the electric starter can be engaged. Mine doesn't make contact. If I insert something like a thin knife blade between the plunger and hub I can get the starter to engage the flywheel when I press the started button. The question I have is can the switch with with the plunger be adjusted so that it comes in contact with the hub assembly or can the hub assembly be adjusted down to make contact..
