Not enough information. What year is your Evinrude? Only on some models from the 70s does a simple carburetor switch handle the conversion.

Further, the carb at that link is for a 90s 4-stroke. If you have a two-stroke, it's the wrong carburetor.

You will need a carb off a 76-late 80's 15 hp. As long as its an all metal carb it should work.
Check ebay for the carb or look on Craigslist for a non running or ugly motor that you can get cheap and then sell the parts you don't need on ebay.

With the carb modification your not going to gain a lot in top end speed (just a few mph) but you will see the gains in the hole shot and how quickly you get up to speed.
