91, 9.9 gamefisher.well i found out that one of my spark plug wires wasnt sending spark, lol so what do i do now? And to let all details be know i was adjusting the carb and im pretty sure it was firing then, and i had the hood off outside and it starting raining, i kept tryin to finish up real quick and it got wet under there, when i came back an hour later it didnt want to start and i did feel some spark from the wire at one point after that,
But now i cant get nothing i put a test light on and grounded it to a battery just to make sure. and the day before i was running it on the lake and it seemed fine till i got to the boat ramp it cut off on low idle and wouldnt start back up .thats why i was working on the carb.

Common problem with that vintage of Gamefisher/Force outboard, a BIM coil (or 2) dies. Standard Magneto out of Chicago might be able to make a replacement for you, I've heard they are about $75. I opted for the CDI ignition upgrade on my 7.5HP Gamefisher when I lost a coil, $150. It's been working fine for a couple years.

The 2 cylinder Force (Gamefisher) outboards will run surprisingly smooth with only 1 plug firing, so if it's not running at all you have other issues, fuel/carb,,,, or you lost both coils. I'd get a spark checker and make sure both coils have a nice hot blue spark to confirm it's a spark issue. Or, squirt some pre-mixed fuel down the carb and see if it will fire.

The fuel pumps were not designed for ethanol, so it might need to be rebuilt too...

While you're at it, replace the impeller if it hasn't been done in the last 2 years.

Ya Ty it does run pretty good on one cylinder which was astonishing to me I thought it wouldn't run at all , matter of fact it runs great without the bad wires plug in, I'm just gonna buy a coil pack and replace it , so for now I,ll be the slow guy putting around on a 5 hp,Nissan till then lol

Ya I think so, its the 225 model, i haven't got it apart or anything but from what I've seen on eBay for 225 models it has 2 yes. I can post a pic when I start working on it , I don't even have a flywheel puller yet , speaking of flywheel pulling or pullers any suggestions?
