I posted before thinking it was a fuel problem but turns out I lost spark in the bottom cylinder on my 1991 9.9hp. I narrowed it down to the bottom cylinder coil pack not throwing spark. I checked both spark plugs and both wires and they are good. I also switched the positive(+) wire going to the coil to the top cylinder coil pack to see if it was sending power to the coil packs and it was because I still got spark out of the top cylinder. So I ordered a Coil pack and replaced one (bottom cylinder) which I thought was bad and still no spark out of the bottom spark plug. Any ideas why the 2nd cylinder will not spark even though it is receiving power to the positive side of the coil. I've checked the ground, switched coils to that side and still nothing out of the coil pack itself. Like I said, new coil pack and the plugs/wires are all good. Any ideas?
