9.9 Sears Engine Need Info

For my highschool auto shop class the first semister we need to take apart an engine and put one back togeter to the correct specs., we just got a new school and some of the class motors were stolen so we need to bring in out own for extra credit and so everyone can have their own engine. I chose to bring in out 9.9 kicker engine that is having fuel flow problems, which i hope to slove in this class, but that's a different topic. <br />QUESTION:<br />Does anyone know where i can find a shop manual or anything online form that would tell me all the specs that i would need to know for a 9.9 mid 70's Sears engine.<br />Any help is greatly apriciated.

Found a book on amazon.com that covers some of the off brands like Sears, Eska,ect.. Unfortunately no sears manual.. Try a search on google for sears outboard service manual.. <br />You might also try a service manual for crysler/force as I recall some of the Sears 9.9's were made by them but I'm not sure what model years.. Your a lucky student to be able to attend a high school with an auto shop.. They seem to have gone by the wayside in many school districts... Enjoy the experience...

Cubs,Try the library they usually have after market manuals for reference.You may have to find a main library if you are in a small town.<br /> A Chrysler/Force manual should have the info you need.
