9.9 ted williams

I recently found a 9.9 in the back of my barn and tried to get her running. She runs great in a bucket so i decided to take her out on the lake. When I got out on the lake I let her warm up for about two or three min then shifted her into reverse pulled my self out without really giving it any gas. when i shifted it into foreward it shifted no problem but runs as if its idling no matter how much gas i give it. Im thinking its the lower end considering i never changed the fluid. Any one have any suggestions on how to check what it is. I also would like to know where i can get parts for it or a blown uup diagram.

We need a model number;these motors were built by a number of companies.
If you advance the throttle it should at least feel like it is developing more power.You might take off the cover and observe the throttle mechanism.
You could unhook one plug wire at a time and ground it.tTry to run the motor.I suspect it is running on one cylinder or the throttle is not working right.
