9.9 yamaha lights?

My 1997 9.9 yamaha has two wires going nowhere under the cowling.Are these for lights?In other words can I hook them up to a 12 volt stern light?

Would need a model number for tiller or remote, trim/tilt, etc.

YES its the two green ones.Can I assume they don't put out enough to run a light?

2 green wires is strictly for AC lighting, if you hook it to 12V something is gonna fry.
they are simply the leads coming from the AC lighting coils. for DC you will have to buy the rectifier kit.
