I had the motor out fishing on Sunday, and noticed that the water spray at idle seemed to be<br />o k , but as I accelerated the water just dribbled out, so I'm wondering if there,s some<br />blockage in one of the plates on the powerhead.<br /> I had the thermostat out and the waterpump is new,so I'm confused about how much water pressure<br />should be coming out of the telltale.<br /> Maybe one of you guys experienced this, maybe you could help me out.<br /><br />charlie boom boom

It should be a steady stream at all times. You might take a thin wire and run it up the telltale to break up any crud that may have collected there. I take the plastic end off of mine and just run the hose through the hole and let it rip. I used to get a piece of sand or junk in it and it would clog up. You also might make sure that your tstat is opening up. You could have a partial clog somewhere else in the system also.
