After I drop the lower gearcase unit and install new water pump, how much of a problem is there getting the water hose & reverse shift line up into unit? is there any slack in the water hose ??<br />I purchased this motor new in 1997 and it doesn't have that much milage on it because it is on a sailboat. What is a good estimate of life time on a water pump ??
