9.9hp Hood seal falling apart

I've got a good running 9.9 that needs a new hood seal, the rubber gasket around the edge of the hood that keeps out water. The dealer says its obsolete.
Are there any aftermarket sources? Can I buy one for a larger motor and just cut it to fit?

The OMC part number is 0325449.

I've looked for a good used cover but most aren't much better or that far behind mine in condition.

Nymarine.ca has them for 1974-92 model years. In black or white.

Thanks for the link, but way too much money for a 4' strip of rubber. They want $35 for the gasket and $15 to ship it here.
That's $50 for a strip of vinyl.
