I have a 1992(?) 9.9t four stroke Yamaha with serial number 6g8l-411214. Ive only had it for a few months and from the beginning its been hard to start. <br /><br />I replace the plugs before going fishing last weekend and had nothing be trouble on the water. It was hard to start (which happened before changing plugs too) and I couldnt go full throttle while in gear, but the high idle lever seem to rev the motor just fine. <br /><br />When I got home I pulled the plugs to check the condition. The top plug was light brown but the lower was black. Is the lower plug Fouled? Was this causing the full throttle issues?<br /><br />What should I start with to fix the hard starts and the lack of full throttle?<br /><br />Thanks Rick
