Top speed Id say 38 give or take a few miles. As for pulling tow tubes You shouldnt have any problems but if the boat is full of people and then you try to tow youll wish for a bigger motor. If its you a wife and a couple of kids youll be fine. pulling a skier would be a little harder cause youll have more resistance initially trying to pull a skier specially if the guy is big he may even pull the stern out when he cuts back.

Top speed?
...well I'd guess something just over 40mph...maybe up to 43mph-ish.
I've got a 1990 18' Capri w/ a 90hp Force outboard and I'm good for 38-39mph on mine....so with a few more horses you should top that.
Before you buy tho'....do a compression test....look for even readings, no big drops.
Good luck
