I have a 90 ELPTO that runs from 1200rpm and up very well, but idles like crap..

it will buck sputter and die occasionally, in or out of gear at low RPMs (1100 and below)

Ive been told that what is needed is to have the motor in the water and idling in gear, and adjust some screws on the carbs to get the proper idle mix.

im just looking for more clarification on this procedure. I.E. a diagram of the screws/their location.

Thats true you should do your ajustments while in the water thats what I do. At 1200 you will blow your lower unit up.

BUMP

I know what I must do, but I would like to see a picture or diagram of the idle adjustment points, from what I understand there is an adjustment on EACH carb, and 1 main one located (where?) ..
