90 hp 2stroke- fuel leaking from choke

fuel is leaking out of the top of choke lever. does anyone know what would cause this.

There taint no choke nor choke lever on a 2001 90 Merc triple (I currently have an '02). It has an electrically operated "fuel enrichment" valve that, when the key is pushed in, with the ign switch in Run or Start, allows raw gas to flow into the intake manifold to richen the mixture (like chokes used to do) for starting.

So as Mr. bhile requested, show us the leak, sir and we will help you best we can.

That's what I was thinking it was, an enricher.
