hi.
just picked up a sea ray jet boat which i believe has a 90 hp merc engine driving the jet .engine has minor problems, bent starter pinion, leaking carbs etc,, . question is when i push the throttle control wide open everything moves fine except that the throttle cam (??) doesn't actually contact the plastic roller that moves the throttle plates. throttle plates never actually move. is the throttle cam just clocked wrong, and if so , does this effect the timing also ?
appreciate any help !!
