90 hp prop shaft seals

I need to replace the prop shaft seals on an '85 90HP evinrude. I'd like to know if a special tool is required to remove the prop hub and thrust bushing before I start the job.<br /><br />Thanks

No special tools required fcryon. Although a slide hammer sometimes helps in removing the bearing carrier....what your calling the prop hub. The thrust bushing should slide off the prop shaft. It's probably stuck. Stick a large screwdriver under it and pop it lose.
