can you help i have a problem with a TOHATSU 90hp tldi all was going fine running at 3000 revs an suddenly the engine sputtered and now will not run over 2200 revs and is running a little rough
That engine has an onboard diagnostic software program that will tell you what is wrong. Pull out your service manual and turn to the troubleshooting section. It will then tell you how to run the suite and how to read the codes.

I need also help for TLDI 90 B, I have big problem with start engine, afer starting all was ok. I give new oryginal spark, and new filters. Also I check fuel compression on start was 4,7 bar, if I close fuel back pipe compression, go to 5,2 and engine strat. What parts will be bed? Fuel pomp, compresion regulator? Guru please help me u.s.a.p
Your best hope is to take the engine into an authorized Tohatsu dealer who is trained and equipped to diagnose your engine....If that is not possible you will need the factory service manual to operate the engine's on-board diagnostic computer.
Thank You for fast unswer. Authorized Tohatsu dealer in Poland have not professional service for TLDI . What You thing about fuel compresion regulator?. And do you know the best place in Europe for service manual book? also for parts for TLDI? Software for TLDI and conection box?
You need to contact Tohatsu in Japan for assistance. You need a trained, experienced, technician to diagnose and repair your engine. Modern outboards are not designed to be worked on by people with desire...They are designed to be worked on by people with specific training.
hi can you help the eng will not go over 3.000 revs in water, but will out of water have run the onboard diagnostic software program no codes can you help
You should buy an engine model that's well supported, known mechanically speaking and with parts availability in your country, other than that, you are throwing your money in middle ocean. First catasthropic experience will serve you on next purchase!!
