So it ran great yesterday I go to start today and took forever. After changing fuel, testing spark took off the carbs and made sure they where clean, pulled the fuel line from the tank and it ran great until it ran out of fuel that is. So I'm pretty sure the problem is not enuf air to the motor. I tweaked the carbs to let more air in and it will run but still rough till about 1/2 throttle. It is a 1981 90hp evinrude. There is a idle setting that I will mess with tomorrow that I think advances the timing (for the worm up lever). can anyone help?
