91 eninrude 15 hp - smoke on the water...not by deep purple!

I noticed a lot more smoke coming out of this engine and also smoke rising out of the wake in bubbles
im wondering if this is something other than gas/oil mix or tune up?

1. bad termostat-stack in open position

2.broken ring,

3. runningto reach .slow spped knob set to reach/

3.carb float set to high
