91 Force 70 - Is it Yamaha?

Force 70hp triple with one carb.<br /><br />Flywheel desn't pull with a Merc puller, looks like the Yammy puller will work. ??<br /><br />Also to me the lower unit looks Yamaha?<br /><br />-W (Merc guy - not force)

its a chysler with a merc ign and metric threads on the flywheel.<br /> nothing on it is remotly yamaha.

And the lower unit is either Merc or Mariner, from the 40-60hp motors.

Lower unit is not Merc. Shift shaft works up and down, Mercs rotate.<br /><br />OK on the rest... Thanks!<br /><br />-W

Then it is probably a Mariner(yamaha) lower unit.<br />Something that Merc had access to from previous dealings.
