I have a 91 OMC 4.3 L GM motor that I am having problems tuning. I pulled all the plugs and one side is burning normal and the other is carbon covered. I have checked the timing and can't get it to 6BTDC which is what my manual calls for, it is stuck at 2BTDC and whenever I move the distributor the motor dies. I have tried to lean out the carb but the carbon is still showing up. I'm not sure what else to try. I have new plugs, wires and the Dist cap looks brand new. Any ideas? thanks
