92 Dynasty Elanti 171

I am looking at trading/buying for a 92 Dynasty Elanti 171. It has Mercruiser 3.0L (140 h.p.) inboard with yamaha sterndrive. I haven't seen it yet, but understand it needs new Impeller. Dont think that, in itself is, a big deal but interested in what else that may mean. Also new at this, so I am looking for any tips/questions I should be looking for when I see the boat.

bellows, gamibal bearing, shift cables, mainifolds and risers. it's a 19 year old boat.

Is it really a yamaha drive????

If so you may want to keep looking. Parts and service for Mercs and VP's will be much easier to locate.

Thanks for your responses. I may be here a lot now, as it looks like I am going to make the trade. 1 headache for another I am sure, but this should at least allow me on the water. Occasionally....
