I'm still looking for a half decent outboard for my fishin boat. I found a 92 force 40 hp w/ controls that I'm going to look at if the seller ever calls me back. Does anyone have any comments on this/these motors. I've got more experience with the OMC's so I'm looking for opinions on this hp/vintage Merc's. Hope yas can help.
<br /><br />To even concider it, it would have to be cheap ($400), get thoroughly inspected by a mechanic, and I would need a test drive on a boat on the lake.
