Hi there everyone, and thanks in advance for any help!! I'll give you the run down.

Dad came to visit me here where I am stationed for my b-day. Went to Lake toho in Florida for the week to do some bass fishin. Boat ran fine. Got back and decided to go out on the intercoastal and in 60ft of water my lower unit broke. Bought a used one and took it to a licensed JOHNSON/ EVINRUDE mechanic shop (thats all they work on) to insure my shift rod was set to the right height. Only to find out that my motor mounts were broke which is probably why the lower unit broke. Good thing they pointed that out to me, cause I couldnt tell not being a mechanic and probably prevented future problems. So I leave it with them. Here is what they said needed fixed and replaced: Motor Mounts, shift cable, and key switch (they said my choke was bad on it). K so 657 dollars after all that I go pick it up. Take it to the ramp launch it and it starts right up and idles fine. Go to take off, it plained out, and then bogged down to nothing. Tried it taking off again same result. Imediately called the people who worked on it, and explained the problem. He said sounds like your fuel pump( $480 dollars more). Now being an electronics tech in the navy we are taught that if it was working before and then you did maintence and then it doesnt work right, go back and look at the maintenance you did. They swear up and down they did not touch anything to do with my fuel system. I just find it hard to believe my fuel pump went out in their concreted drive way. But since then I have replaced the bulb and fuel line with the bulb and got same results. I have two tanks on my skeeter. And there has been times during all this that I will take it out and it runs on plane fine. But as of recently same results on both tanks even after swapping to a tank that had brand new gas. And one time before lower unit went bad I had same symptoms of boggin down on plane and found my fuel hose goin to the bulb was loose and was I assumed getting air. I cut and re clamped the hose and fixed the problem. Even that time and now if I have someone pump the bulb while taking off and on plane it will stay on top end but they have to keep pumping it. Any help would be appreciated. I am tryin to look for something small before I have to spend 500 dollars i dont have. Thanks again.
