Hello all i have the above engine it has a slight tilt ram leak which i top up regularly with no probs till now, after storing it for 4 months and leaving it trimmed down there was a oil stain on the concrete from the leaky ram but did not look much so i tried to trim it up for a top up with power steering stop leak but nothing moved.
When trying to trim up with the lower 2 trim rams it sounds like the trim motor is running faster and louder than it used to.
The engine will not budge but when i manualy lift the engine with a helper pushing the up button the left trim ram comes out leaving the right trim ram stuck in until i let the weight of the engine down on the centre tilt ram the pressure seems to leave the centre tilt ram and go into the right trim ram pushing it out to its extended position.
I topped the oil up when i first got the engine fully tilted only taking about 60mls.
When tilted up it does not creep overnight.
I am having to pump the right trim ram up by manualy lifting and lowering the engine then having to help the now slower tilt ram up all while some one else presses trim up button sorry about the long post but it is hard to describe lol any info would be very much appreciated cheers Gordon.
