92 Merc 4.3L - Fuel Filter

looks to be an inline fuel filter, metal barrel with npt ends, instead of the common spin-on water seperator type.

Having a hard time finding a replacement online, as the original part number is discontinued.

Anybody know where I can get the OEM filter, or if I should just switch it over to the spin-on filter kit?

Sounds like an automotive type fuel filter. Get that off of there and install the correct water separator kit. Should have had one originally anyway.

yeah, it appears as though they realized their error and changed it after one model year... kind like how I got the oddball Weber 4bbl...

Ayuh,... Thankfully, that Idea didn't catch on,... Convert it to the cannister style....

Btw,... The Weber isn't an Oddball,...
It's Still being used,+ is Way Better(in My mind) than the Rottenchesters they replaced....

I have the weber on mine and love it!!!!! But then again im an oddball too!!
