The title pretty much says it all. I recently bought this engine from a small OB shop. They had gone over the engine and it looks like the carb has been off and cleaned. It idles fine and will pull the stock 9?" X 10" prop over 7000 rpm on a 14' Crestliner jon boat. I am amazed how much power this little motor makes.
From off idle around 2000 up to maybe 5000 it seems to be slobbery rich stuttering and 4-cycling. Can anyone give me a little guidance where to start looking to reduce or eliminate this??
